2024: Landmark University Emerges Best Private University In Academic Development
…71 Bag First Class, As University Graduates 678
Landmark University, Omu-Aran, one of the leading Universities in Nigeria has graduated 678 students comprising of 617 undergraduates and 61 post graduates students.
The Vice-Chancellor of Covenant University, Prof. Kolawole O. Ajanuku while giving his speech during the 11th Convocation Ceremony “THE RELEASE OF PATHFINDERS 2024” held today, Friday 1st November, 2024 announced that 71 undergraduate students came out with First Class Honours.

According to him, this was the highest since the inception of the University.
283 came out with Second Class Upper; 252 with Second Class Lower while 11 came out with Third Class.
He also noted that 11 graduated at the Ph.D level, 6 from Masters and 11 from PGD making a total of 61 post graduate students.
He also stated that Landmark University was ranked according to the Times Higher Education University World Ranking as Number 2 (shared with other Universities) in Nigeria, 3rd in West Africa, 11th in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Landmark University also came out 2nd in Research Environment and 2nd in Research Quality in Nigeria.
He also stated that this was the first time, Landmark University would be entering into the World University Ranking Evaluation.
According to Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, Landmark University was ranked as 3rd in Nigeria, 2nd in SDG 7, 1st in SDG 4, 2nd in SDG 12 and 8th in SDG 17.
Landmark University also won the Best Private University of the Year in Academic Development.
In attendance was the Chancellor and Chairman Board of Regents, Dr. David Oyedepo; Pastor Mrs. Faith Oyedepo and other dignitaries.
