Man Shot Dead At Express Junction

Tragedy struck at Udu Express Junction on Sunday evening when an
unidentified middle-aged yman was shot dead by unknown gunmen around 9:20 pm.

Eyewitnesses report that a group of young men, approximately the same age as the victim, crossed the road and confronted him.

“There was a brief argument, and within seconds, we heard a gunshot,” an eyewitness recounted.

Another eyewitness suggested that the incident may be related to a rival cult attack because the victim was shot on the mouth.

Ogo Clarkson, a reporter for Oasis Magazine, who arrived at the scene, spoke to eyewitnesses who identified the victim as a regular street hustler who loaded vehicles and collected illegal tolls from drivers.

“The victim was well-known in the area for his daily activities,” Clarkson reported.

Witnesses described him as a stubborn individual, making the motive behind the attack unclear.

As at the time of filling this report, the Nigeria Police are yet to arrive the scene for investigation.

The incident occurred at Udu Express Junction at 9:20 pm.

The victim remains unidentified and the lifeless body is still at the scene and the suspects are still at large. The motive behind the attack is yet to be determined.
