Orodje Of Okpe, Integrity Group Endorse Governor Oborevwori For Second Term

…Declares Operation 4+4 Slogan

The Integrity Group, a prominent socio-political movement in Delta State, has declared unwavering support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s second term bid. This declaration was made by the group during a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Major General Felix Agho Mujakperuo (Rtd.), the Orodje of Okpe kingdom at his palace.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Dr. Oke Idawene, the Convener, who unveiled 4+4 as a slogan for the governor second term bid, highlighted the group’s achievements over the past 17 months under governor Oborevwori’s administration describing the governor’s performance as “excellent” and emphasized the need for Deltans to rally behind the administration for continued progress.

“Governor Oborevwori means well for Delta State. His developmental strides across every sectors have been remarkable, and we are here to seek royal blessings to further our efforts and announce his second term.” Idawene stated.

The Convener however commended the Orodje who is the Chairman, Delta State Traditional Ruler’s Council for his dexterity in keeping and managing the culture and tradition of the Okpe and entire Urhobo people by promoting harmony, socio-cultural cooperation, communal living and peaceful co-existence among the Urhobo and other ethnic groups in the state.

In his remarks, the Orodje of Okpe commended the Integrity Group for their steadfastness, commitment and urged them to uphold the principles of integrity that define their mission. He encouraged the group to persevere and remain true to their cause, stating, “Do not let your integrity be questioned or betray your mission for any reason.”

The Orodje also charged appointees of the governor to fully support his administration saying; “Use the little you have to contribute to the growth of the state and the governor’s success.” he advised.

Expressing satisfaction with the group’s activities, the monarch endorsed governor Oborevwori’s second term, affirming his belief in the governor’s vision for Delta state. “I am happy with the group, and I wholeheartedly support operation 4+4 for the second term of governor Sheriff Oborevwori.” he declared.

The monarch recalled with gratitude how God answered his long time wish and prayers of having a son or daughter of Okpe kingdom becoming the governor of the state under his reign saying Oborevwori’s emergence as the governor of Delta state is a dream come true for him.

The visit underscores the growing support for governor Oborevwori’s leadership and the Integrity Group’s resolve to champion his re-election for sustained progress in Delta State.
