PDP Warri South Members Pass Vote Of Confidence On Oborevwori

The Delta State ruling political party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in Warri South Local Government have passed a vote of confidence on Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.
The vote of confidence was passed at a well attended town hall meeting held at King George Memorial Hall, along Warri/ Sapele Road Warri on Friday 1st November, 2024.
After a roboast deliberation of Governor Oborevwori’s stewardship since he was voted into office, Governor Oborevwori was given a pat on the back for the massive infrastructural and human development projects across the state, especially on the ongoing multi billion naira flyover, drainage, the Lower and Upper Erejuwa Road expansion among other projects in the local government area.
Governor Oborevwori was also appreciated for his employment programmes in terms of appointments and skill acquisition among others.
A motion for the vote of confidence on Governor Oborevwori was then moved by Hon Godwin Abigor. This motion was seconded by Chief Vincent Okudolor and adopted by the Honourable member representing Warri Constituency 1 at the Delta State House of Assembly, Dr Austin Oroye.

Oborevwori was also assured of the continued support of residents of the local government area for him and the party at the town hall meeting.
Those who spoke at the historic event also appreciated and commended the Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council Hon Isaac Weyinmi Agbateyiniro for his laudable achievements in just one hundred days in office.
Governor Oborevwori who was ably representated by his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Hon Emmanuel Edesiri Aguwariavwodo, thanked members of the party in the local government area for the vote of confidence on him, as he promised that it will spur him to do more for the local government area and indeed the entire state.
Governor Oborevwori however urged the people of Warri South Local Government Area and indeed Deltans to sustain their support for him and the PDP in order to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy in the MORE agenda.
Two distinguished members of the party in the local government area, Hon Hope George and Andrew Ukavbe who is the PDP leader of Obodo Ward in Warri South Local Government Area, expressed delight over the huge turn out of party members at the town hall meeting, as they noted that it was an indication of the unity among members of the party in Warri South Local Government Area.
The Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Council, Hon Isaac Weyinmi Agbateyiniro, the Vice Chairman of local government council Rt Hon Kingsley Edafiadjebre, the party chairman in the local government area, Hon Richard Pessu, Hon Omimi Esquire , a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Oborevwori on Women Mobilization, Chief ( Mrs ) Eda Ekemere, Special Adviser on Community Development, Ambassador Agbolayah, Dr Hon Oritsejafor, Giftson Omatsuli were among Warri South Local Government PDP chieftains spotted at the town hall meeting.
