How Oborevwori Induces The Humiliation Of Urhobo Nation

The trend is getting worse where insensitive Urhobo elites would willfully bring Urhobo Nation into disrepute and their associates would start picking quarrels with whoever raises issues with such show of shame.

When the Ovie of Agbarha-Warri Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Kingsley Orereh (Igbi II) was to be coronated and presented staff of office by the Delta State Government, I texted, wrote Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, reached out to his Urhobo friends and associates to impress on him to ensure he personally presented the staff of office to His Royal Majesty, Kingsley Orereh (Igbi II), Ovie of Agbarha-Warri Kingdom.

Disappointingly, the feedback I got was that Gov Oborevwori would not be obliged to do so. That he had formally delegated the presentation of staff of office to his Deputy, Monday Onyeme. I knew they were talking bullshit.

Last weekend, the governor, in person, presented staff of office to the Asagba of Asaba. Gov Oborevwori had the time, justification to present staff of office to the new Asagba of Asaba but was too big, too busy to present staff of office to Ovie of Agbarha-Warri Kingdom.

What a shame? The Ese Gam Owe led UPU didn’t see anything wrong in this. Ese Gam Owe was among persons I alerted to use his office to impress on the governor. Current Urhobo leaders are disgraceful to selves and families.

I pity those who still run after them as Urhobo leaders and UPU leaders who don’t know shame. How do you expect other tribes to respect them and respect Urhobo ‘Ivie’ and leaders when they disrespect and disgrace selves?

Why did Oborevwori not send his deputy to present staff of office to the Asagba of Asaba? Who is Oborevwori deceiving or fooling? He delights in pleasing others and downgrading his own Urhobo Nation. Urhobo ‘Ivie’ should be ashamed for running after Governor Oborevwori for pity and stomach infrastructure.

Those who blame me for blaming Ese Gam Owe and his UPU executives for visiting former Gov Ifeanyi Okowa after his bail from EFCC in Port-Harcourt should direct the blame to Ese Gam Owe and Gov Sheriff Oborevwori for undermining Urhobo Nation.
