Oborevwori Reiterates Commitment Of Delta To Driving Excellence, Innovation In Healthcare Delivery
The state Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has reiterated the commitment of the state to driving excellence and innovation in healthcare delivery.
Governor Oborevwori stated this during the Dove Healthcare Awards, held in Lagos State, which saw Delta State Contributory Health Insurance Commission receiving an award as the *Most Outstanding State Health Insurance Of The Year.
The Governor represented by the Chairman of the Delta State Contributory Health Commission (DSCHC), Dr. Austin Obidi, said the paramount objective of the Commission is to ensure Universal Access to *Quality and Affordable healthcare*, in alignment with global standards.
He restated Government’s resolve to remain steadfast in the pursuit of achieving *MORE* for the benefit of all residents of Delta State.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Delta State Contributory Health Commission, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Commission, Olorogun Dr. Isaac Akpoveta dedicated the award to the state Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
Dr. Akpoveta said Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to the M.O.R.E. agenda and provision of access to quality health care, particularly to indigent residents in Delta State, earned the Commission such award.
It would be recalled that the Delta State Contributory Health Commission recently received an award as the *Best West Africa Health Provider Of The Year 2024*, by Time Africa.
