Pipeline Attacked In Niger’s Dosso Region

A crude oil pipeline in the Dosso region of Niger was attacked early Thursday morning near the Dioundou area, authorities have confirmed.
According to sources, the incident, which occurred in the early hours, disrupted the flow of oil through the pipeline.

Security forces have since been deployed to the area to investigate the attack and assess the extent of the damage.
The pipeline, part of the Niger-Benin Oil Export Project, has been a target of attacks in recent months.
