Raining Direct Curses On Someone Online Is Cyberbullying, Criminal Offence –FPRO

ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Nigeria Police Force, has warned Nigerians to desist from insulting people on the social media, saying that “raining direct curses on someone online is cyberbullying”
He said this via a post on X on Friday.
His post reads in part: “Raining direct curses on someone online is cyberbullying, not expression of freedom or criticism.”

According to him,” cyberbullying, which is even different from defamation, is a criminal offence and punishable.”
“Be guided,” he concluded.
