Upon arrival at the venue, the Principal of the school, Alumna Dr. Anthonia Mmiliaku Overah, (who coincidentally is a member of the alumni association) appreciated the philanthropic gesture while receiving members of the alumni association to her administrative domain.
According to her: “I am grateful for this show of love and philanthropy, and I know my students are appreciative of this, too. I appreciate everyone of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to come over here for this important assignment. May God almighty bless you all.”
Some members of the alumni association, including the alumni branch Secretary, Amb. (Dr.) Emma Obiuwevbi were on ground to give the students various valuable pieces of advice and then prayed with them, even as the students were urged to be of best conduct at all times, and to take their studies seriously.
The students were advised to shun vices which include various forms of truancy, cultism and drug abuse which have become the order of this modern day.
The gospel of “there is dignity in labour” was seriously preached to them.
It was fun as the glamorous presentation was witnessed by some members of staff of the school and it was a gesture that was well applauded. The school visitation came to a climax with a photo session.
