Hon. Chief Barr. Sam Chukwuji, the pioneer chairman of Ndokwa East Local Government Area in Delta State and a long-standing member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has officially announced his resignation from the party.

Chukwuji, a three-time chairman of Ndokwa East and a prominent PDP campaign director since 1999, cited dictatorship and undemocratic practices within the party as his reasons for leaving.

Chukwuji’s legacy in Delta politics is significant.

He chaired several campaigns, including those of former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999 and former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in 2019. Known for his eloquence, historical knowledge, and strategic leadership,

Chukwuji was a key figure in strengthening the PDP in Ndokwa East and beyond.
