Ex-NYSC DG, Tsiga, Kidnapped In Katsina

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped a former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Maj.-Gen. Mahrazu Tsiga (rtd), alongside several residents of Tsiga village in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The assailants reportedly stormed the village late Sunday night, shooting sporadically before abducting the retired general and other victims.

Although details of the attack remain sketchy, sources in the community said the bandits operated for hours without resistance.
