NAF Addresses Clash Between Personnel, Police Officers In Warri

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has addressed the altercation involving its personnel and police officers in Warri, Delta State, on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, assuring that the matter has been resolved.
A statement by Air Vice Marshal Olusola Akinboyewa, NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, on Thursday, said the Commander of the concerned NAF unit had engaged relevant police authorities in Delta State to enhance inter-agency understanding.
According to the statement, the injured police officers have received medical attention, while the NAF personnel involved are undergoing disciplinary procedures in line with military regulations.
“As a professional and disciplined force, the NAF remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of conduct and fostering harmonious relationships with sister agencies in the collective pursuit of national security and public safety,” the statement read.
The NAF assured that measures are being taken to prevent a recurrence of such incidents and urged for continued public support and understanding.
