Double Gruesome Murder In Benin City, As Man Allegedly Kills Pregnant Lover, 6-Year-Old Daughter In Benin

A horrific incident has shaken the residents of Benin City, as a 41-year-old pregnant woman, Osasu Aimienoho Isaac, and her 6-year-old daughter, Alleluya Uwuigbe, were allegedly murdered in their home.

The suspect, Wealth Nnamdi, the deceased lover and would-be husband is currently at large.

The tragic event occurred at a house on Idiagbonya Street in Ovbiogie community on the Benin-Lagos road in Benin City.

According to eyewitnesses, the lovers had a heated disagreement which unfortunately escalated into a fatal confrontation.

Neighbors reported that the couple frequently quarreled, but this particular incident seemed more intense. After the dastardly act, Nnamdi allegedly locked the body of the pregnant woman and her daughter in the room and fled the scene.

The gruesome discovery was made when neighbors noticed a strong odour emanating from the room.

They alerted the police, who forced open the door to find the lifeless bodies of the mother covered up in a cloth on the floor and her daughter’s body was on the bed. The victims were subsequently taken to the mortuary.
