BREAKING: Oborevwori Dumps PDP, Defects To APC

Delta State Governor, His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborowheri has announced his movement to the All Progressives Congress, APC, to caucus members, LGA Chairmen and all PDP stakeholders in the state .

The announcement was made this afternoon in Asaba.

The Vice President, Kashim Shetimma will be in Asaba on Monday to officially receive him into the party.

Sheriff will fly into Abuja this week to meet the party leadership, close sources said.

All appointees and PDP ward, LG and State excos as well as appointees to move to begin taking their APC membership card.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu confirmed the development while briefing the press on Tuesday.

“We will.make the big announcement of the defection of the governor to APC on Monday,” he said

This has finally put paid to a series of denials over the long awaited defection to APC, a political calculation he succumbed to, as a surety to return in 2027 for the second term.
