The rumoured last minute move for the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, to defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the coming days has been debunked by a senior government official.

Recall that the Publisher of Secret Reporters on Tuesday said that “messages have been sent round for meeting tomorrow,” adding that the “topic of discussion is his movement to APC and cabinet members.”

According to his post on Facebook, “my friend Gov. Sheriff Oborowheri of Delta finally develops the balls to move.”

He continued: “Delta money bought the way in, the villa boys got mesmerised with dollars they never saw before and may never see in their lifetime.

“Tinubu is back and he alone can stop it like he promised, but until then, Sheriff Otilor.”

He added: “2014 till date, I have NEVER made a wrong political post about Delta State government that was never eventually confirmed, never. All exclusives happen. But did he have to move in body?”

He said further: “Publicly announcing Bola Tinubu as his government choice for 2027 election against his own party candidate was already 100% movement to APC

“Now, let those who once insulted DSP Ovie Omo-Agege and Ibori begin to sing their praises

“As usual, I will remain with the masses even if I decide to join APC tomorrow. Or have I even joined?”

Reacting, the said senior governor’s aide who opted for anonymity said Fejiro Oliver should not be taken seriously.

“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori remains in PDP, forget the rumours,” he concluded.
