Chief Philomena Ededey, Hosts Ethiope West Children’s Day Party

It was a grand breaking event in Ogharefe, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State as Chief Hon. Philomena Ededey hosted children from different background to commemorate this year’s Children’s day celebration.
The event was tagged ‘Tinubu/Sheriff Ukodo children’s day.’
The event which started at about 11am saw parents and their wards trooping enmasse to the venue of the party with heavy smiles on their faces.
The converner of the Children’s day party, Chief Hon. Philomena Ededey, thanked both the parents and their wards for associating with the M.O.R.E Agenda of Gov Sheriff, saying that the ‘Ukodo’ is for everybody whether you are young or old.

Chief Ededey told the children to be of good behavior and that they should do away with anything that will work against their progress in life especially drugs and cultism, which she considered as sociatal ills.
Chief Ededey also advised parents to always watch out for their children’s attitude and correct them with love whenever they are going wrong.
Some of the parents who spoke at the event thanked the effort of Chief Ededey for making sure that this children’s day was a success, adding that the ‘Ukodo’ was very palatable.
The climax of the event witnessed dancing competition, quiz, general knowledge and various gift items were given out to the children as part of the celebration
