Oborevwori Extols Chief Bernard Edewor At 74

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on Thursday, congratulated respected elder statesman and community leader, Chief Bernard Edewor, on the occasion of his 74th birth anniversary.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori described Chief Edewor as an accomplished leader who continues to render invaluable service, particularly to the people of Ethiope East Local Government Area, Delta State, and its citizens.
He praised Edewor for his humility and quiet strength; qualities which, he said, had earned him the status of a father figure to many, as well as for his pivotal role in shaping democratic governance in Delta State.
Governor Oborevwori stated: “It is with profound joy that, on behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Delta, I extend warm felicitations to you as you celebrate 74 remarkable years on Earth.
“As a septuagenarian, you have lived a life of impact, an exemplary and accomplished leader in Ethiope East Local Government Area.
“Chief Bernard Edewor is not just a man of age, but a man of immense wisdom, courage, and selfless service.
“At 74, your footprints remain indelible in the sands of Delta’s political history. You have mentored leaders, resolved conflicts, and upheld the values of truth and justice.
“Today, we celebrate not just your age, but your enduring legacy.
“Your tireless efforts and commitment to the growth and development of our party in your Eku community and in Ethiope East Local Government Area are commendable and worthy of emulation.
“On this special day, I join your family in thanking Almighty God for His guidance, protection, and provision for you over the past 74 years—a life marked by humility and profound fulfillment.”
