This follows a closed-door meeting led by Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, with aggrieved beneficiaries, government officials, and their legal counsel.
Senator Barau stated that the FG is actively processing the payments, leading beneficiaries to suspend legal action.
Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, explained that the arrears were unfunded in previous budgets but will now be paid within the 2025 fiscal year through service-wide vote approval.
Legal and beneficiary representatives have confirmed the commitment and expressed hope for swift disbursement.
The N-Power programme, part of Nigeria’s social investment agenda, continues to receive attention under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision.
