Mrs. Clementina Ojumah— An Epitome Of Hardwork, Diligence And Grit

Mrs. Clementina Ufuoma Ojumah, the Director of Examinations and Standards in the Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education is a selfless, committed and goal–driven woman.
She is blessed with a knack for creativity and innovation, and by dint of perseverance, tolerance and focus , she is a well grounded public servant of note, who has carved a niche for herself.
Known for her ebullience, brilliance and sagacity, Mrs. Ojumah is a humble woman with managerial ability and unbendable principle. She can be trusted to deliver in virtually all situations.
A stickler for excellence, thoroughness, discipline and transparency, this outstanding public servant displays single minded commitment, is thorough, fair-minded dispassionate and always has justice and the public good as the core of her decision making.
As a Director of Examinations and Standards, Mrs Ojumah has contacted to demonstrate remarkable resourcefulness, resilience and strong managerial acumen as reflected in strings of successes recorded by her department in the conduct of examinations and other assigned responsibilities, with the support of the Ministry.She worked at Anglican Girls Grammar School, Ozoro, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Ozoro, Isoko North LGA, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Obiaruku, Ukwuani LGA, served as a Chief Inspector of Education, Obiaruku, Chief Inspector of Education, Sapele LGA, Chief Inspector of Education Warri South LGA. She also served as a Deputy Director in the Department of Planning Research and Statistics.
As a Director, she has served as Director of Schools and Inspectorate before she was posted to head Examinations Department.
That the overall life of this outstanding public servant remains on a consistent rise is proof enough that, on a general scale of consideration, Mrs Ojumah came across not only as a woman of peace and compassion, she is inspirational and loyal in her relationship which does not harbour any boundaries of whatever colouration.
She has touched many lives and these years have portrayed her as a great woman, with works to humanity sky-high in scope, and impact capable of generating a school thought in love of humanity.
A devout christian of the Roman Catholic Faith, Mrs Ojumah is indeed a pride to the Delta State Civil Service and Delta State.
Happily married and blessed with children, Mrs Ojumah has become a roadmap for public servants who still believe that hardwork, good morals and playing according to the rules is the only recipe for career progression.
In recognition of her immense contributions to the socio economic development of Delta State, especially in the education sector, Mrs Clementina Ojumah was honoured with a Merit Award by the Federated Union of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria during it’s 10th National Conference in Asaba on April 29, 2025.
