Delta: Action People’s Party Hold Unified/Strategic Meeting

The Action People’s Party (APP) in Delta State on Thursday held a unified and strategic meeting.
The meeting, tagged ‘Unified and Strategic 2025, was attended by State Executives and all stakeholders in td state.
Speaking to our correspondent immediately after the meeting in Asaba, the state chairman, Hon. Okaegwu Isioma Peter, on behalf of the entire state exco, appreciated the national chairman of the party and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party for taking what he described as “a smart decision” in restoring sanity and dignity to Delta APP.
In his words, APP Delta State and Nigeria is a national party that has come to restore the nation’s past glory, unite the people and strengthen the collapsed economy.
According to him, during the meeting, the 25 LGA chairmen were mandated to immediately embark on ward to ward membership drive.

He continued: “You will agree with me that bad leadership in the state is the result of what we are facing in Delta State today, such as youth unemployment, insecurity, collapsed infrastructure and total economic hardship.
“Action People’s Party Delta State, with its enriched ideology has come as an alternative party to restore Delta State passed glory as a rich oil producing state.”
Furthermore, he called on youths, men and women in the state, to join APP to make Delta State a habitable state, where insecurity, unemployment and collapse infrastructure will be a thing of the past.
The State chairman, reminded the entire State working committee (SWC), that the reward for hard work is more work, in which all hands must be on deck.
Hon. Peter also told the party in the state that the days of big parties and small parties are gone.
He said: “It’s no longer business as usual, as the outcome of elections and decisions are purely in the hands of the electorates.”
His words: “Deltans has made errors in electing leaders in the past, and we have all gotten our fair share which must be corrected, come 2027.”
Finally, he said plans and preparations towards 2027 are seriously ongoing as wards and units EXCO shall be inaugurated soon across the state.
He called on all well-meaning Deltans to join the APP, stating that equal opportunities shall be given to all candidates in 2027.
