Delta State @ 34: UGIU Pledges Continuous Support For Oborevwori

The apex socio-cultural body in Uvwie Kingdom, Uvwie General Improvement Union ( UGIU) has pledged its continuous support for Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.

The President General of UGIU, High Chief Abovi Hope Erute made the pledge in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent at his office along Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Road, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, on Wednesday, 27th August, 2025.

He stated that Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori has done a lot of good things in terms of human and infrastructural developments for Uvwie Kingdom to deserve the support.

“We are indeed proud and glad to identify with him as one of own .

“He is a good ambassador to Sapele/ Okpe, Uvwie Federal Constituency,” he added.

Erute however added that the achievements of Governor Oborevwori so far cuts across the entire state, as he noted that communities can boast of the achievements of Governor Oborevwori so far.

Erute who doubles as the Isirerha of Etche R Alegbo ( traditional administrative unit) Uvwie Kingdom, then urged other Deltans to plegde their continuous support for Governorship Oborevwori Oborevwori till 2027 and beyond in order for them to continue to enjoy the dividends of his MORE Agenda.
