Infrastructural Development: Oborevwori Is Giving Warri A Facelift - Omagbemi

Warri Urhobo political icon, Hon Voke Omagbemi has remarked that Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori is giving Warri a facelift.

Omagbemi who is an Executive Assistant (EA) to Governor Oborevwori on Community Development, made the remark in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent at the weekend.

Omagbemi who is fondly called Oyo, substantiated his claim with the myriads of projects that have been completed and are ongoing by the Delta State Government in Warri South Local Government Area at the time of the media interaction.

He specifically expressed delight over Governor Oborevwori’ s efforts in solving the age-long perennial flood problems in Warri, the commercial hub of Delta State.

“Warri and its environs are beginning to see real progress under His Excellency Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.

“Problems of flooding and blocked drainages are being addressed through visible construction works across affected areas in Warri,” he added.

While giving Governor Oborevwori a pat on the back for successfully solving the flood problems on the Apala and Ginuwa roads, he stated that “Governor Oborevwori’s urban renewal drive has brought in contractors working on deep drainage system and gutter clearing to permanently solve the flood problem in Warri.

“This might not happen overnight but with patience and the support of residents, the problem of flooding in Warri will soon be a thing of the past.

“So let us be patient and allow the contractors to finish their jobs.

“Warri is changing for good and with unity, support for Governor Oborevwori, the results of his good works will speak for themselves,” he assured.
