Loyalty Without Reward: Delta Grassroots Network Laments Lack Of Recognition
The Delta Grassroots Network (DGN), a prominent group known for its unwavering support and mobilization efforts in Delta State politics, has expressed deep concerns over the lack of recognition and rewards for their contributions.
The group led by Hon. Chuks Asuai expressed their sentiments about the collective realization among the group that their contributions were unappreciated.
The founder of the group, Hon. Chuks Asuai embodies the essence of loyalty, dedication, and service to both leadership and community. His unwavering commitment to shared values and collective goals has earned him a reputation as a dependable leader and trusted ally. Through his consistent support for his party’s leadership and his tireless efforts to mobilize and canvass votes, Hon. Asuai has proven himself to be a reliable pillar of support and continuity.
The group revealed that as loyal followers they feel abandoned after their unwavering support during crucial electoral campaigns, including the 2023 gubernatorial election.
“We worked tirelessly for the emergence of Rt. Hon Sherrif Oborevwori , dedicating our time and resources to ensure his victory, yet, we have received no recognition or reward for our efforts,” he stated.

With their concern, the leaders of the group is urging the State government and especially the Ndokwa Nation leadership to recognize their commitment and selfless sacrifices that has been made during and after every elections in our various Local governments in Delta state.
