Delta NAPPS Presents 31 Awards To Members, Others

The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, NAPPS, Delta State Wing, at the weekend presented awards to 31 persons during the just concluded NAPPS Day event.

This year’s event tagged NAPPS DAY 2025 & Proprietors’ Retreat with theme: ‘Transformation Through Redefining, Redesigning and Reimagining’ took place on Friday and Saturday at the PTI Conference Center, Effurun.

A dinner and award night held on Friday evening.

Some of those that were honoured with the Hall Of Fame Award are Prof. Edmund Atakpo, Mrs. Nwachukwu Obiageli Maryann, Dr. Glory Ogugua Eseonu, Dr. (Mrs) Bridget Boyee, Hon. Justice. Olotu Anthony Akpovi, Amb. (Dr.) Daniel Jokpoghene Moriah, Mrs Bezi Blessing Unyime, Amb. (Mrs.) Margaret Titilayo Adesoji, Hon. (Dr.) Olive Agbonma Bruce, Engr. (Mrs) Lovelyn Ejoh, Dr. Lady Anne Bazuaye-Ekwuyasi, Prince Alex Obonodi Erakpotobor, Mrs Isiwu Edith (FHRNIR), Mr. Samuel Ebitonmor Yinkore and Chief (Mrs) Theresa Ojigho.

The list also includes Mr. Lucky Sunday Oghuvwu, Amb. (Dr.) Mrs. Onyi Ikemefuna, Rev. (Mrs.) Patricia Idemudia, Rev. (Mrs.) F.O. Adelakun, Prof. Peters Akpoturi and Mrs. Princess Faith Omamuzo Oghuvwu.

Delta NAPPS also presented Humanitarian Service Awards to Amb. Samuel Okehebunor and Amb. Augusta Keneboh.

Those that bagged the Peace Awards are Elder E.E. Ukeredi, Chief Matthew Igbogine and Hon. Nelson Erhimu.

The association also honoured Pst. (Mrs.) Dorcas Oguntoyibo, Elder (Mrs.) Queen Umukoro, Rev. Winner Okiki and Pst. Mrs. Rhoda Ikede with the Distinguished Member Award.

A Distinguished Leadership Award was presented to the pioneer chairman of NAPPS in the state, Bishop (Dr.) Felix Mikpoyibo.
