Chieftaincy Title Is Given To Only People Who Have Contributed To Community Development –Ogwashi-Ukwu Monarch
By Ifeanyi OmenoHe made the remarks when he conferred the Chieftaincy title of the Onwanetilioha of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom on Chief (Mrs) Yolanda Ndudi in his palace at Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The royal father said the conferment of Chieftaincy title on Chief (Mrs) Yolanda Ndudi was to appreciate her for her numerous support to her husband, Chief (Dr) Jude Ozah in the development of Ogwashi-Uku, the state and the nation at large.
Obi Okonjo said Chief (Mrs) Ndudi and her husband Chief Ozah were source of encouragement to Ogwashi-Uku, saying that his development in the area is equal to none.
According to him, Ogwashi-Uku is safe today because of Chief Ozah and his wife’s contributions to security, adding that the couple donated vehicles, drones and other security equipment to the police to ensure proper protection of lives and property at Ogwashi-Uku, its environs and the state at large.
He said “Chief (Mrs) Yolanda Ndudi is a pride and source of joy to Ogwashi-Uku kingdom; she has the interest of the area at heart.”
Chief (Mrs) Yolanda Ndudi at the occasion, thanked the royal father and the people of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom for recognizing her family’s contributions to the development of the community and finding her worthy for the chieftaincy title of Onwanetilioha.
She said the gesture would spur her and her family to continue to contribute to the development of the community, the state and the nation at large.
Chief Gabriel Ohai, the Odogwu of Ogwashi-Uku, Chief Edwin Esemezie, the Igwoba of Ogwashi-Uku, Chief Okeibunor Augustine, the Ogboli of Ogwashi-Uku, Chief George Okafor, the Ogodilieze of Ogwashi-Uku at the occasion described the title as well deserved.

They said Chief (Mrs) Ndudi and her husband Chief Jude Ozah are icon of development and great son and daughter of the kingdom.
Others at the occasion were Chief Zealiwe Ojeogwu, the Alio of Ogwashi-Uku, Chief Onyema Igbokoi , Architect Ikechukwu Odide, the Chief Executive Officer of MIO group of companies, Honourable Patrick Onyekanankea, Honourable Stephen Ezediunor and the Omu of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom, Ogbueshi Edith Rafua, all also described Chief Ozah’ and Chief (Mrs) Yolanda Ndudi as beacon of hope to Ogwashi-Uku kingdom .
They lauded Obi Okonjo for recognizing the monumental development of Chief Ozah and his family in the Community, praying God to continue to bless and protect him and his family.
