DELSU: Faculty Of Science To Hold 8th International Conference Nov. 12-14

The Faculty of Science, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, will hold its 8th International Conference on Wednesday, 12th to Friday, 14th November, 2025.
The event tagged DELSU FOSIC2025, with theme: ‘Accelerating Science Innovation and AI for Unmatched Climate Resilience and Impactful Business Research,’ will hold at the 750 Lecture Theatre A, Site Ill.
According to the organisers, the Opening Ceremony will hold on Wednesday at 10:00am, adding that Technical Sessions will hold on Thursday and Friday.
A statement signed by the Chairman, Local Organising Committee (LOC), Prof. Israel Okoro and Secretary, LOC, Odafe Obule, added that Prof. Sammy Sam-Wobo of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta will deliver the Keynote Address, while Prof. Anthony Okoh, University of Sharjah, UAE and Prof. Nelson Ndume, Institute for Water Research, Rhodes University, South Africa, will present papers.
Dignitaries expected to grace the event include Governor, Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevworl (Special Guest of Honour), Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Nyerhovwo Tonukari (Guest of Honour), Commissioner for Science and Technology, Dr. Odinigwe Daniel Odigle (Guest of Honour) and Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Hon. Samuel Oligida (Guest of Honour).
The Host, Prof. Augustine Atonuje, Dean, Faculty of Science, DELSU and Chief Host, Prof. Samuel Asagba, Vice Chancellor, DELSU will also be in attendance.
