NUGA: DELSU Sports Team Arrives Jos

After 48 hours of travel, the Delta State University sports contingent has successfully arrived in Jos, Plateau State, ahead of the much-anticipated Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) competition.
The Director of Sports, Students’ Union Government (SUG), Okoro Alexander, disclosed this on Friday in a statement.
The team, which comprises athletes, coaches, and officials, expressed excitement and readiness to represent the university with pride and determination.
According to the team coordinator, Coach Lucky Adjaino, the journey was smooth, and the athletes are in high spirits as they settle into camp and begin their final rounds of training before the commencement of events.

The DELSU delegation is set to compete in various sporting categories, including athletics, football, basketball, table tennis, and others.
The university’s sports director, Peter Omajuwa-Ekakitie, reaffirmed confidence in the athletes’ abilities, noting that their rigorous preparation and commitment would yield excellent results.
