Alfred Eghwrudjakpo Nominated PG Of Erhoike Community, Charged To Work For Unity

Mr. Alfred Eghwrudjakpo popularly known by his people as Marshal has been nominated President General (PG), of the oil-rich Erhoike Community, Kokori in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State by Elder Duke Ojarife
The nomination of Mr. Alfred Eghwrudjakpo as the PG of the Community came as a result of the expiration of the outgone PG of the commumity Chief Lucky Udjemu whose tenure has elapsed.
According to the custom and tradition of the community, the emergence of the PG is based on nomination by the families that make up of the community such as Emomiredu family whose turn is to produce the PG of the community for the next 4 years.
According to a record,, the Emomiredu family has four gates which are Emasodje, Orhorhoro, Ediakevwe and Erukpro gate, adding that in the sharing formular of Emomiredu family, the Orhororo gate is the one to produce the PG this time which happens to be Mr. Alfred Eghwrudjakpo who is from the Orhorhoro gate of Emomiredu family. respectively.
While nominating Mr. Alfred Eghwrudjakpo as the PG which took place at the community town hall recently by the most oldest man of the Orhorhoro gate, Elder Duke Ojarife called on him to be transparent in his government.
He said: “Your nomination as PG of Erhoike commumty is a call on you to serve. Before l nominated you as the PG, l know you are capable and you can deliver; you know the plight of the people in the community and you can work to ensure that they will be carried along in the scheme of things”
“l urge you to work with other stakeholders of the communuty so as to attract needed development to the community. l also use this medium to commend our amiable Governor Sheriff Oborevwori over his development strides in the state”
However, the nomination of Mr. Alfred Eghwrudjakpo as PG was noticed by the oldest man of the Emomiredu family, Chief Mike Oshebruku, Elder Freeborn Omakpokpose from Erukpro gate, Elder Solomon Emasodje, Elder Peter Etavwotutu from Emasodje gate, Elder Pius Onohwo, Elders Omonigho Onohwo from Ediakevwe gate, while Elder Duke Ojarife and Mr. Isaiah Akpochimara are from Orhorhoro gate respectively.
On his part, the new PG of the Community Mr. Alfred Eghwrudjakpo thanked the Emomiredu family in general and Elder Duke Ojarife for his nomination as the PG, assuring that he will not disappoint the confidence reposed in him.
