Maryland Christian University Confers Honorary Doctorate Degree On Saint Goddowell Ivworin

Maryland Christian University, Baltimore, USA, on Saturday conferred a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Guidance and Counseling (Honorary Caucus) on Saint Goddowell A. Ivworin, Senior Pastor of Truth Aflame International Church, Ekpan.

The ceremony took place at the College of Education, Edjeba, Warri.

At the said event, the cleric, who also is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aflame TV, and Rector of the Rev. Goddowell Mentorship Network International, was also honored with an Ambassadorial Award by the Association of Conflict Resolution Management & Advocacy of Nigeria (ACAN), just as the body also inducted him as a Global Peace Ambassador and Community Service Advocate.

Reacting, Pst. Kenneth Ogoke (TAC Admin), said “this prestigious award recognizes his unwavering commitment, dedication, diligence, and conscientious service to humanity.”

Adding: “His immense contributions have positively impacted society and the state at large, promoting peace, development, and the well-being of all.

The honor was conferred in commemoration of the 2025 International Conflict Resolution Day, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2015–2030).
