Ogunu Indigenous Contractors Association Exco Returned Unopposed

The Executive Committee of Ogunu Indigenous Contractors Association has been returned unopposed and sworn in for another tenure of two years.
The swearing in ceremony of the association’s executive committee members took place at the Association Hall in Ogunu Community, Warri South Local Government Area on Wednesday, 10th December, 2025.
Members of the committee are Chief Bernard Kpesu (Chairman), Festus Okere (Vice Chairman) , Ejejigbe Gabriel Onoriode ( Secretary) Deacon Isaac Omonigho (Treasurer), Kess Alele (PRO), Fregene Patrick Omagbemi (Provost), Prince Abiodun (Adviser 1) Chief Austin Okorare (Adviser 11) and Chief Ejiro Ofuya (Ex- officio 1).
The Chairman of the reelected Ogunu Indigenous Contractors Association Executive Committee, Chief Bernard E Kpesu in his keynote address at the historic event, tendered the committee stewardship in its first tenure.
Kpesu also appreciated HRM Kingsley Emakpor Orereh Igbi 11, the Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom, Ogunu Community and scores of individuals and corporate bodies for their immense contribution to the achievements of the association.
He also listed some of the achievements and challenges of the association.
“We apologize to all those we have offended in the course of discharge of our duties both in and out of association.
“We must also plead with those that we couldn’t satisfied effectively well,” he added.

While accepting the mandate of the association to serve for another tenure of two years, the respected Agbarha Warri chief, on behalf of his colleagues, pledged his continued and unfettered loyalty to the service of the association.
“We must also implore you all to direct us when we are going astray as no one has the monopoly of knowledge and like the saying goes, team work always win.”
High point of the event was the swearing in of members of the committee by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the association, Chief Joachim Osevwerha.
Deacon Cyril Kokarhaye gave a good account of himself as the Master of Ceremony ( MC ) at the event.
Bishop (Professor) Michael Oritseweyimi Udi ( JP ), Deacon Ejiro Ibuakevwe , Hon Debe Ogona, Believe Gold Owhere (PRO of Ogunu Community) among other distinguished personalities were spotted at the event.
