Itsekiris’s Sinister Agenda For Drumming War Beats Over A Sapele They Don’t Own

The insult by Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan in laying false claim to ownership of Urhiapele (Sapele) should be taken seriously by the President General, Urhobo Progress Union (UPU),Ese Gam and Urhobo elites.

Emmanuel Oritejolomi Uduaghan has spoken on behalf of the Olu of Itsekiri and his people and didn’t speak for self. I have always advised Olu of Itsekiri and his people to go back to their home villages and towns in Benin River rather than clogging around Urhobo major cities and towns.

Urhobos, Ijaws,Isokos stay and develop their towns and cities while Olu of Itsekiri and his people are busy laying false claims of ownership to Urhobo communities.

Urhiapele (Sapele) City belongs to Okpe-Urhobo. Emmanuel Oritejolomi Uduaghan, please you and Olu of Itsekiri should relocate to your home villages in Ode-Itsekiri and Benin River.

Itsekiris are not helping themselves with these false claims of ownership7 of Urhiapele(Sapele). The Urhiapele (Sapele) land is the home city of Okpe Kingdom in Urhoboland. The entire Urhiapele (Sapele) land is in Okpe Kingdom in Urhoboland.

The disputed land which was declared to be owned by Okpe-Urhobo people is just a small section of Urhiapele (Sapele) of Okpe Kingdom. The entire land of Urhiapele (Sapele) was not disputed by Itsekiri Olu and Itsekiri land grabbers.

Itsekiri should return to their home villages in Benin River.
Where are the Olu of Itsekiri and Iteskiri land grabbers all, these while?

“I knew that the Itsekiris, through this Oritejolomi Uduaghan, were preparing grounds for their claims on Sapele. I am happy that the Okpe Kingdom has taken the initiative to build a sub-palace of the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom in Urhiapele (Sapele).

“I said this previously: the Itsekiris claim lands and places of such lands under the sovereignty of their Olu. The Okpe kingdom and the Urhobo nation should get ready for any eventuality, with this threat by Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, acting on behalf of his Olu.

Game plan: since the Urhobo now have two recognized kingdoms in Warri, the Itsekiri are spoiling for a kingdom in Sapele, but they don’t want to alter their single kingship system by appointing an Itsekiri king in Sapele.

Therefore, a strong wealthy chief like Oritejolomi Uduaghan is throwing himself up to challenge the Okpe overlordship on all Urhiapele (Sapele) lands. Oritejolomi Uduaghan will not stop. The Okpe Kingdom supported by every Urhobo must stand up in unity to stop this well planned action of the Itsekiri” Notoma concluded.

As noted by Emmanuel Ojameruaye, “As a first step, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom and President General of UPU must act fast to change the name of Sapele LGA to Okpe West LGA immediately and make it clear by way of an Edict/White Paper/Bill of the Delta State House of Assembly that all the territories in the Sapele LGA belong to the Okpe kingdom.”

As said by Henry Sota,
“Itsekiris are Land Grabbers. This Olu is spoiling for a fight with Urhobos. The more reason why the St Malachy Grammar School’s Old Boys Association should ensure they reclaim their school land from the Itsekiri land grabbers and impostors”, Henry Sota concluded.

As noted by Michael Akpobome Egi, “Where is Ese Gam, President General, Urhobo Progress Union (UPU)? It is his responsibility as PG UPU to defend Urhobo territories from being occupied by Olu of Itsekiri and Itsekiri land grabbers”, Egi concluded.

Precisely in October 2020,Chief E.A Temile, Esama of Itsekiri Kingdom passed and was buried on February 2021 in Okurode-Urhobo, in Warri City after E A Temile’s family paid families of Okurode-Urhobo for them to allow their family to bury their father in Okurode-Urhobo in Warri City. E.A Temile hailed from Benin River.

Ese Gam, President General of UPU is weak and bereft of ideas for the office he occupies. Where are those Urhobo politicians and traditional rulers who aided Ese Gam to grab the position of President, UPU?

Have they not seen that Ese Gam and cohorts are nothing but bunch of disgrace to Urhobo Nation? In few years time Olu of Itsekiri and Iteskiri land grabbers will lay false claim of Ownership to Okurode-Urhobo in Warri.
