Oborevwori’s Achievements Will Earn Him Reelection – Akasa

The Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom High Chief Hope Akasa (JP) has expressed optimism that the achievements of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori so far will earn him a second tenure.
Akasa who is the highest traditional chief in Uvwie Kingdom stated this in an exclusive media interaction with our correspondent during a surprise birthday party held for him by his family in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, on Wednesday, 21st January, 2026.
While assessing the performance of Governor Oborevwori so far, the respected Uvwie high chief asserted that it will be difficult for any governor, be it the military or civilian administration to surpass the laudable achievements of Governor Oborevwori so far.
“If he is able to achieve all these in just three years in office, one can imagine what he will achieve in the next five years.
“I say 5 years because his laudable achievements so far have already earned him a second tenure.

“It is only a misguided person that will dear to contest with him in 2027 Delta State governorship elections. Even his worse critics know this fact .
“I am particularly proud of him because he has made Uvwie and Okpe people proud.
“He is the best governor Delta has ever produced, be it the military or civilian administration; he is the best thing that ever happened to Delta State,” he added
The highest traditional chief in Uvwie Kingdom had earlier given Governor Oborevwori a pat on the back for the building of flyover bridges in Uvwie/ Warri South Local Government areas, Otovwodo Ughelli and Agbor, the construction/rehabilitation of roads, construction of drainages/gutters across the state and purchasing of vehicles for traditional rulers in the state.
Akasa who also applauded Governor Oborevwori for the relative peace in Delta State, further hailed Governor Oborevwori for the quick and regular payments of workers; salaries, settlement pensioners’s arrears as well as contractors in the state.
He further commended Governor Oborevwori for the rapid improvement in the education sector and development of sports in Delta State.
The Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom wrapped up the media interaction with the commendation for Governor Oborevwori for not borrowing money in achieving these feats.
