Abe 1, An Accomplished Traditional Ruler – Oyovwi

The Provost of College of Education (COE ), Warri, Dr. Dickson Oyovwi, has remarked that HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, is an accomplished traditional ruler.

Oyovwi made the remark in a media chat with our correspondent during the reception of the 18th coronation anniversary of the Uvwie monarch at the posh palace of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Government Reservation Area ( GRA), Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area, on Wednesday, 18th February, 2026.

The Provost of College of Education (COE), Warri used the book on the autobiography of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom to substantiate his claim.

“The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom has so far shown that he is an accomplished traditional ruler and a blessing to humanity. His popularity cuts across Nigeria as could be seen in the caliber of traditional rulers and other highly placed Nigerians that graced activities of his 18th coronation anniversary,” he added.

Oyovwi used the media chat to congratulate the Uvwie monarch on the successful launch of the book on his autobiography and 18th coronation anniversary, just as he prayed for more fruitful years for the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom.
