DELSU Bars Students From Driving Private Vehicles On Campus

Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has barred students from driving their private vehicles into the campuses of the institution.
According to a statement on Friday, the order was with immediate effect.
Oasis Magazine learnt that the directive followed an unfortunate incident that occurred on Thursday, where a student who was driving a private vehicle ran into a Professor, resulting in a serious accident.
In view of this development, the Management ordered the immediate restriction of all privately owned student vehicles within the school premises to ensure the safety of staff and students.

Meanwhile, the Student Union Government (SUG) of the institution has advised all students to comply strictly with this directive, in a statement.
Adding|: “Any student who violates this order will face serious disciplinary actions.”
