Warri: Girl, 8, Escapes Eating Fried Grounded Bean Cake With Life Wasp

It was the sheer miracle of God that, an 8-year-old girl, Miss Oghenevwegba Ologide, escaped eating a fried grounded bean cake (popularly called akara) with a life black colour insect known as wasp in it in Warri, last Sunday, 15th February, 2026.

Oghenevwegba, the daughter of a veteran journalist, Ambrose Ologide who bought the grounded bean cake from the seller, hot and fresh at Odibo Street, was about to throw a ball of the hot and fresh fried bean cake into her mouth for chewing, but by the sheer miracle of God, she decided to tear the ball of akara before putting into her mouth for chewing but behold she saw the life poisonous insect in the ball of akara.

She then alerted her immediate elder sister, Oghenenefegor who in turn drew the attention of their mother, Mrs Elehor Ologide. It took the trio a long time to kill the black colour poisonous insect.

The mother of the lucky little girl thereafter took the insect and the ball of akara and reported the shocking discovery to the seller who explained that the insect must have been from the place where the beans were grounded.

Meanwhile, the mother of Oghenevwegba later gave a testimony of the miracle at the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Ginuwa branch where they worship and God was appreciated for saving the life of the little girl as she was prayed for by the members of the church.
