Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dauda Lawal for re-election in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was part of resolutions reached at the conclusion of the APC Zamfara State Stakeholders’ Meeting held on Friday, April 25, 2026, at Government House in Gusau.
The high-level meeting brought together party leaders, elected officials, elders, youth and women representatives, as well as stakeholders from the 14 local government areas of the state to deliberate on party unity, governance, security, and preparations for future party activities and the 2027 polls.
In a communiqué issued after the meeting, stakeholders reaffirmed their total and unconditional loyalty to the leadership of the party in the state under Governor Dauda Lawal, pledging to strengthen internal cohesion, discipline, and party structures at all levels.
They also formally endorsed President Tinubu’s leadership and reform direction, describing the move as a demonstration of unity, confidence, and strategic alignment.
The stakeholders declared that the people of Zamfara State, alongside the entire APC structure in the state, fully support Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing the need to consolidate ongoing gains and ensure continuity in governance.
Similarly, Governor Dauda Lawal received unanimous backing for a second term in office, with party leaders commending his leadership, security reforms, economic recovery efforts, and commitment to sustainable development in the state.

The stakeholders also emphasized the need for party unity, urging members to avoid divisive tendencies and embrace conflict resolution mechanisms to sustain harmony and internal cohesion.
