NUJ Warri Celebrates Tompolo @ 55, Says He’s A symbol Of Resilience
Nigeria Union of Journalists, Warri Correspondents’ Chapel, has congratulated Niger Delta leader, Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on his 55th birth anniversary, describing him as a symbol of resilience and commitment to regional development.
In a goodwill message signed by its Chairman, Okakuro Akpokona Omafuaire, and Secretary, Edeki Igafe, the Chapel said the occasion was not only a celebration of age but of a legacy marked by courage, leadership and service to humanity.
The NUJ Warri Correspondents Chapel commended Ekpemupolo’s enduring contributions to peace, security, and economic growth in the Niger Delta, noting that his efforts have had a lasting impact on the region.
According to the statement, Tompolo has consistently demonstrated the ability to rise above challenges, transforming adversity into opportunities for progress and empowerment for his people.
The Chapel further acknowledged his role in promoting unity and justice, describing him as a leader whose influence continues to inspire hope across generations.
