DELSU Mourns As Senior Staff, Oghenevwogaga, Dies In Obiaruku

Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka, has been thrown into deep mourning following the sudden death of Mrs. Victoria O. Oghenevwogaga, a Senior Secretariat Assistant.

Mrs. Oghenevwogaga reportedly passed away on Monday night at a hospital in Obiaruku, Delta State, leaving colleagues, friends, and associates in shock over the unexpected loss.

Her death has created a wave of grief across the institution, where she was known for her dedication and service.

In an official statement, the President and Management Committee of the DELSU BWA MPCS Ltd confirmed her passing, describing it as a painful loss to the cooperative and the wider university community.

The statement read:
“OBITUARY!
With a heavy heart, but with total submission to the will of God, the President and Management Committee of DELSU BWA MPCS Ltd announces the sudden demise of one of our dedicated Management Committee Members, Late Mrs. Victoria O. Oghenevwogaga, which sad event occurred at midnight on Monday, 11th May 2026.

While we struggle to come to terms with this loss, we pray for divine comfort for her family, members of DELSU BWA MPCS Ltd and the University community at large.

May the Lord grant us all the fortitude to navigate this difficult time, and may her family find peace in the cherished memories she left behind.

Burial arrangements would be circulated in due course.
