Hon. Ebizi Commends Gov. Diri As Ekeremor–Agge Road Project Advances

EKEREMOR, BAYELSA — The Member representing Sagbama Constituency III in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mrs. Ebizi Ndiomu-Brown, has commended Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, for his administration’s commitment to infrastructure development as work progresses on the Ekeremor–Agge Road project.

Hon. Ndiomu-Brown gave the commendation on Thursday when she joined Governor Diri on an inspection tour of the Ekeremor–Ndoro Road section of the ongoing project in Ekeremor Local Government Area.

During the visit, Governor Diri expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work being carried out on the road, praising the contractor for adhering to approved standards and demonstrating commitment to the timely completion of the project.

The governor was received by notable political leaders and stakeholders from Bayelsa West, including APC Senatorial Candidate for Bayelsa West, High Chief Fidelis Agbiki; APC House of Representatives Candidate, Hon. Bernard Kenebai; APC House of Assembly Candidate for Ekeremor Constituency I, Barr. Tariere Joyce Gita; and APC House of Assembly Candidate for Sagbama Constituency II, Hon. Sinkumo Ekisah, among others.

Speaking after the inspection, Hon. Ndiomu-Brown described the Ekeremor–Agge Road as a landmark project that would significantly transform the socio-economic landscape of communities in the area.

According to her, the road will improve connectivity, facilitate the movement of people and goods, boost agricultural activities, promote tourism, and open up more economic opportunities for residents.

She praised Governor Diri and the Prosperity Administration for prioritizing infrastructure projects that directly impact the lives of the people, noting that the government’s efforts are gradually bringing development closer to previously underserved communities.

The lawmaker also reaffirmed her commitment to supporting policies, programmes and legislative initiatives that promote sustainable development and improve the welfare of Bayelsans.

Hon. Ndiomu-Brown expressed confidence that upon completion, the Ekeremor–Agge Road project would stand as one of the most impactful infrastructure projects in the state, further strengthening economic growth and integration across Bayelsa West and beyond.
