2027: Ovbije Rallies APC Faithful, Backs Tinubu, Oborevwori, Waive, Others

The Member representing Urhobo nationality on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Mr. Sylvester Oniemo Ovbije has re- affirmed support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Hon. Francis Waive and Hon. Barr. Mathew Omonade.

The reaffirmation was contained in his address to the teeming supporters and members of the Sly Political Movement and the Executive members of the APC on Sunday July 19th, 2026 as he played host to the APC Ward 1 members at his country home in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Addressing the mammoth crowd of the APC faithful, he urged them to be steadfast in their support for the five (5) APC candidates during the 2027 general election.

“We are standing with our Governor, my Daddy, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is our number one project. Sheriff has done very well as attested to by the large crowd of supporters today. APC is our party and the Party we know. We are going to deliver 5/5, come 2027,” he said.

Speaking further, he urged party faithful not to be dissuaded by unknown parties that Ughelli North and Orogun are not going to play opposition politics any longer, noting that since the primary election, this is the first gathering and that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has performed creditably well and his second tenure is guaranteed By the people.

“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is going to do more with the MORE Agenda and the Renewed Hope of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, if re-elected in 2027 for second tenure,” he said.

Other speakers at the occasion were the Chief of staff to the House of Representative Member, Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu federal constituency; Chief Bunor Agbomedarho who commended the unalloyed support of the people to the APC and all the party faithful, noting that Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive is poised to do more for the people of his constituency when elected for second tenure come 2027

“I want to thank my brother, Mr. Sylvester Ovbije for this massive grassroots political mobilisation for our party and candidates. My Boss, Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive is going to do more beyond his achievements so far,” he said.

He then urged all party faithful to be loyal and support the MORE Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and that Delta State is in safe hands.

“The full dividend of democracy is yet to come. Our Principals are going to do more for the people when re-elected into office, come 2027. Your support is not going to be in vain,” he added.

Many speakers and political Stalwarts who addressed the mammoth crowd were in unison to mobilize and support all the APC candidates in the forth coming general election.

The highlight of the ceremony was the reaffirmation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori; Senator Ede Dafenone; Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive and Hon. Barr. Mathew Omonade as their 5/5 candidates, come 2027 general elections.

Amongst the speakers were Mr. Franklyn Okoro, Secretary Ughelli North APC who represented the Chairman; Chief Gladys Agbah, Women leader; Comrade Imoniacho Otega, Chairman Orogun Ward one; Chief Magistrate Enakpodia; Hon. Pastor Goodluck Unuaworho, Secretary Ughelli North Local Government Area; Hon. Pat Efetoboh, former Governorship candidate, National Action Council NAC and leader Orogun Ward one; Executive Members of Ughelli North APC amongst others.
