DELSU Set To Partner NEXIM Bank On Export Development, Research Commercialisation
Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, is set to partner with the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM Bank) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing export development, entrepreneurship, innovation, research commercialisation and human capital development.
The proposed partnership is expected to establish a framework for collaborative initiatives in export education, entrepreneurship development, research commercialisation, professional training, innovation and capacity building for students, staff, entrepreneurs and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
As part of the collaboration, both institutions will work together on export-related research, enterprise development, innovation challenges, and the establishment of specialised centres and programmes designed to boost Nigeria’s export competitiveness and drive sustainable economic growth.
Speaking on the initiative, the Vice-Chancellor of DELSU, Professor Samuel O. Asagba, described the partnership as another strategic move towards strengthening university-industry collaboration, promoting innovation-driven research and positioning the university as a leading institution in entrepreneurship, export education and research excellence.

The collaboration is expected to create opportunities for knowledge exchange, skills development and practical engagement, while supporting efforts to translate research findings into commercially viable products and services.
