Ejogwha Forum Endorses Onome Bernice Dema For Delta Central Senatorial Seat
The Ejogwha Forum, a socio-political and community development organization in Delta Central Senatorial District, has endorsed Olorogun Onome Bernice Dema as its preferred candidate for the Delta Central Senatorial seat, describing her as the most qualified, experienced, and visionary leader to represent the district in the National Assembly.
The endorsement was announced during a stakeholders’ meeting attended by community leaders, youth representatives, women groups, professionals, and opinion leaders, who unanimously expressed confidence in Dema’s leadership qualities, commitment to public service, and dedication to the development of Delta Central and the Urhobo nation.
Speaking on behalf of the Forum, its leadership said the decision followed extensive consultations across communities and a careful assessment of the credentials, integrity, and track record of aspirants seeking the senatorial position.
According to the Forum, Dema possesses the competence, experience, and passion required to effectively represent the interests of the people, influence quality legislation, attract meaningful federal projects, and champion policies that promote sustainable development, economic growth, youth empowerment, women’s inclusion, quality education, improved healthcare, infrastructure development, and job creation across the district.
The Forum maintained that Delta Central deserves a senator who understands the challenges confronting the people and has the capacity to provide purposeful representation anchored on accountability, transparency, and inclusive governance.
Members also commended Dema for her longstanding contributions to community development, humanitarian service, and advocacy for the welfare of women, youths, and vulnerable groups, noting that her leadership has earned her widespread respect and confidence across various sectors of society.
The group therefore called on political stakeholders, delegates, traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth organizations, women groups, and eligible voters across the eight local government areas of Delta Central Senatorial District to support Dema’s aspiration to represent the district in the Senate.

Expressing optimism about her chances, the Forum said her emergence would usher in a new era of responsive leadership, effective representation, and accelerated development for Delta Central.
Reaffirming its commitment, the Ejogwha Forum pledged to mobilize its members and supporters across the senatorial district to ensure overwhelming support for Olorogun Onome Bernice Dema, expressing confidence that her victory would translate into stronger advocacy, greater opportunities, and lasting dividends of democracy for the people of Delta Central.
