Osuoza Hails Oborevwori’s 13th-Month Salary Bonus For Delta Workers

ASABA, DELTA STATE — The Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza has commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for approving a 13th-month salary bonus for civil servants, describing the decision as a demonstration of compassionate, worker-friendly leadership.

In a statement titled “Governor Oborevwori’s 13th-Month Salary: A Testament to Compassionate Leadership,” Osuoza said the governor’s announcement, made during the Dinner and Award Night of the 2026 Public Service Week Celebration in Asaba, reflects the administration’s commitment to the welfare of workers.

According to him, the bonus comes at a time when many households are contending with rising living costs and inflationary pressures, noting that the additional payment would provide financial relief to workers, boost morale, and improve the wellbeing of many families across the state.

He said the gesture underscores Governor Oborevwori’s appreciation for the dedication and resilience of the Delta State workforce, adding that it demonstrates an understanding of the importance of motivating public servants to enhance effective service delivery.
