By Ambrose Ologide

A Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Oborevwori on Non Indigenes Affairs, Nze Francis Onuora has remarked that the award of Christian Icon Award on Governor Oborevwori by Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is well deserved.

Onuora who is a devoted Catholic , stated this in a media interaction with our correspondent at his office in Warri , Warri South Local Government Area last weekend.

The Warri based sports wears and equipment merchant gladly and proudly noted that Governor Oborevwori has been contributing immensely to the growth and development of Christianity in Delta State and in Nigeria and that in recognition of this fact, Igbo Catholic parishioners in Warri Catholic Diocese recently invested Governor Oborevwori as one of their patrons in an event in Mother of Redeemer Catholic Church, Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area.

He had earlier described Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as a leader who has the fear of God , humble, transparent and kind-hearted as he stated that with these qualities, Governor Oborevwori truly deserves to be given the CAN icon Award.

The chieftain of Ohaneaze Ndigbo Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts therefore lauded Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for its initiative of giving Governor Oborevwori the award.
