Okowa: Peace In Delta State Has Enabled Us Take Development To The Grassroots

The Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has reassured the people of Ethiope East Local Government Area, of the state government’s partnership in gradually bringing development to change the facelift of the council.
Governor Okowa who spoke during the commissioning the Orhoakpor-Isiokolo-Ekrerhavwen Road in Agbon Kingdom of the said local government area, added that peace in Delta State has enabled his administration take development to the grassroots.

He urged the kingdom to pray for continued peace in the state, saying that as long as they remain peaceful, the govermnent will continue to remember to include the communities that make up the kingdom as locations for developmental projects.
The Governor’s visit to the council also saw him commissioning projects in Abraka and inspecting the ongoing construction of the Senate building in Site III of Delta State University, Abraka.
