Delta: INEC Declares Elumelu Winner Of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency Election
The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the just concluded Federal House of Representatives Election for the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in Delta State, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, has been announced as the Winner of the election.
The INEC Returning officer for the election, Dr. Ignatius Ezoem, Provost, Federal College of Education, Technical, Asaba, announced the result late Sunday night at the end of collation at the Oshimili South INEC office in Asaba, Delta State.
According to the announced results, PDP polled a total of 84,615 votes in the four local government areas of the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, to defeat his closet rival of the APC who scored a total of 11,086 votes.
The result shows that Hon. Ndudi Elumelu candidate defeated his opponent in the APC with an unprecedented difference of 73, 529 votes.
