Egbema Monarch To Ereyitomi: Surely You Will Succeed
As Okere-Urhobo, Agbarha Warri Monarchs Give Royal Support
*Ugedi Embarks On Door-to-door Campaign For Ereyitomi
As the February 16 Presidential/National Assembly elections draw closer, the Agadagba of Egbema Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Bini Pere 111, has blessed and drummed support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Warri Federal Constituency, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, assuring him of mobilizing Egbema people to vote for him and all PDP candidates in the polls.
The Egbema Monarch gave the assurance while welcoming the Chief Thomas Ereyitomi campaign organization to his palace annex in Warri, appealed to Chief Ereyitomi to remember Egbema people as he goes to represent the people.
Pere Beni Pere the 111 noted that Egbema and Warri North does not have any opposition party that it is only PDP they know in the area since 1999 and will give block votes as usual to the PDP at the elections..
The Ereyitomi campaign organization also visited the Orosuen of Okere- Urhobo kingdom, HRM, Prof. Paul Okumagba, Idama the 2 and the Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom, HRM Orhifi Ememo 2
The said kings both gave him their Royal blessings to succeed at the National Assembly poll coming up on Saturday, February 16.
The campaign train also visited the Ohaneze-Ndigbo in Delta South and Central senatorial districts to canvas for their votes at the elections.
Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on Non- Indigenes Affairs, Nze Francis Onuora, reaffirmed the group’s support to deliver all their votes to PDP, Chief Ereyitomi and all PDP candidates from presidential to House of Assembly seats.
Nze Francis Onuora posited that “we are PDP and PDP is us , PDP is in us we are giving bulk votes always.”
Meanwhile, a chieftain of PDP in Egbema, Warri North and staunch supporter of Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, Chief David Ugedi, has embarked on door-to-door campaign for Chief Ereyitomi election, urging his people in Egbema to turn out riverine votes for all PDP candidates.
Chief Ugedi appealed to others to emulate Egbema and deliver Chief Ereyitomi with massive votes.
When the campaign team landed at Iyara, some group of persons who decamped from other political parties declared for PDP, promising to work for the victory of Chief Ereyitomi and other PDP candidates at the elections.
