The Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, Chief (Hon.) Eugene Inoaghan, has said that the people of Sapele are sure of a good representation by Chief Felix Anirah, Member-elect, Delta State House of Assembly, Sapele Constituency.

Speaking to Oasis Magazine (OM) recently while responding to questions during an exclusive chat in Sapele, Chief Inoaghan added: “He is a onetime chairman of Sapele Local Government Area. He is experienced and also honest. I am very sure that he will do what he has been sent to do in the legislative arm of government.”

He continued: “Chief Anirah has been touching the lives of people before eventually he was elected as house member. With more resources that will come to him now, he would touch more lives.”

The council boss called on the people of Sapele to be patient, prayerful, and always pursue peace.

He said: “Once there is peace there is bound to be development. We are very lucky to have the governor and also Felix Anirah on board again.”

Speaking about how the journey has been so far on the saddle of leadership in the council area, Inoaghan said: “It has been a wonderful and lovely one. We are gaining experience every day. The people of Sapele are actually cooperating. It is a collective decision that takes place here, not a one man show.

“Before we take a decision, we meet with the leaders and then seek audience with all the good people of Sapele. We take decisions collectively to ensure that Sapele is in good shape. I can assure you that Sapele is in safe hands.”

According to him, the people of Sapele should expect more inputs by his administration in the areas of education, infrastructural development and other things that will benefit the people of Sapele.

On the just concluded guber polls in the state and the victory of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, he said: “PDP were on ground. The governor did all he could do to actually empower Deltans and non Deltans as well. He did extensively well. Having done so well in terms of infrastructure and human development, all we needed to do is to return him back because he will do more.

“He has done so much. So what we need is to bring him back so that he can do more for our people.”
