Abraka DPO Bags Security ‘Award For Excellence’
–As Police Nabs Robbers Along Eku-Warri Road
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Abraka Division, CSP Hassan Isah, has bagged an ‘Award for Excellence.’
The award was presented to him in his office earlier today by the News Editor, Print Journalism News, Austin Oshomah.
According to Oshomah, the award was to recognise CSP Isah’s commitment to national security and the growth of democracy especially during the last election where the recipient served in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
The plaque for the award read: “This ‘Golden Award of Excellence’ is presented to you based on your contribution to the development of security in Nigeria.”
Meanwhile, men of the division recently nabbed two armed robbers along Eku-Osubi Road after a successful robbery operation in Eku town.
Valuable items belonging to their victims were found in their possession.
Oasis Magazine (OM) gathered that while two of the said robbers, Aruwana Okonuku, aged 26 and Wlison Lucky, aged 23, from Ovu and Isiokolo, both in Ethiope East Local Government Area respectively, but residing in Warri were apprehended, two members of the gang are said to be at large and a manhunt has been launched for them.
OM also learnt that some women on their way to the market for their early morning trading also had their cash and belongings robbed by the said robbery gang.
