No fewer than 300 women in Idjerhe kingdom, in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State were some of the beneficiaries of Pastor Idowu Ambrose Ogana Foundation’s benevolence, including children from orphanage homes, remand homes, hospitals and prison inmates.

Pastor Ogana ldowu Ambrose, who celebrated his birthday with his family members and well wishers at the First Baptist Church in the Jesse town, the administrative headquarters of ldjerhe Kingdom, distributed wrappers to widows at the occasion.

The cleric who is the minister in charge of the Living Faith Church, otherwise known as Winners Chapel, Elume branch, said his action is in line with the vow he made to God seven years ago.

He told the congregation during the service that things were hard for him and his family when he vowed to God that if his situation can improve for the better, he would during his birthdays each year put smiles on the faces of the less privileged, and since then has never relented after God visited him.

Pastor Ogana who earlier went round hospitals, remand homes, orphanage homes and prisons where he presented the inmates with provision, toiletries etc, assured that the exercise has come to stay, while appreciating all those who graced the occasion with him.

His wife, Mrs. Doris Enyerie Ogana who also addressed journalists, said she was particularly very happy with the programme her husband has initiated because  at a time it was very rough with them, but God visited them in a special way, hence they have come out with this programme.

The guest preacher, Pastor Edo Amagiya, the minister in charge of Glad Tidings Baptist Church, Jesse town, who titled his sermon, “Covenant with God and took his text from Deut. 7: 12-15,”described Pastor Ogana as a man with a loving heart who is ever ready to give to those in need.”

He appreciated God  for the life of Pastor Ogana whom he said God has been using because he Ogana has equally met his part of the vow he had with God, while enjoining Christians to always fulfill their vows to God which he said is the only way God can bless them in return.

The man of God emphasised that since a Covenant is an agreement between man and God, man must strive to fulfill his part by working with God, so that He God can do His own because our God is a covenant keeper.

Those who gave testimonies and good will messages on Pastor Ogana, extolled his sterling qualities as a very good man who is Christ-like, a personality that can starve for another to eat, as they prayed that God continues to keep him and his entire family in good health so that they can continue to do good.
